In Loving Memory of Lois Jane (Bauer) Cavallo
Lois Jane (Bauer) Cavallo, 60, of East Haddam, beloved wife of Kevin Cavallo, passed away on Friday, February 13, at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Born on August 10, 1965, in Bay Shore, New York, Lois was the cherished daughter of John and Meta (Boettcher) Bauer.
Lois was truly a force of nature. She approached life with strength, determination, and boundless energy, never content to stand still. She poured her heart into everything she did, always striving to make life better for the people she loved and the causes she believed in. Her resilience, drive, and unwavering spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Lois shared a lifelong love story with her husband, Kevin, whom she had known since high school. Their bond, built on years of friendship, loyalty, and deep affection, was a constant source of strength and joy in her life. Together they built a life rooted in commitment, partnership, and enduring love.
Her greatest pride and deepest joy were found in her son, Matthew. She celebrated his accomplishments wholeheartedly and found immense happiness in watching him grow and thrive.
Beyond her devotion to her family, Lois was a passionate advocate and fierce protector of animals. Her compassion was especially evident in her lifelong love of horses, which brought her profound joy and fulfillment.
In addition to her beloved husband, Kevin, Lois is survived by her son, Matthew Cavallo of East Haddam; her sisters, Carol Bauer of Springfield, Illinois, and Susan Trager of Ellenville, New York; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Friends may call at Spencer Funeral Home, 112 Main Street, East Hampton, on Friday, February 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
